Forgotten Pacts In this supplement for Frostgrave, players lead their warbands into the northern reaches of the city, exploring the ruined temples of the Frozen City to search for the lost secrets of evocation - the art of summoning demons. While the lure of such knowledge is great, few wizards have ventured into this region as it is overrun by barbaric northern tribesmen who have descended from the hills in their own search for treasure. Marking themselves with demonic sigils, many of these barbarians have aligned with ancient powers discovered amongst the temples. Along with a host of new scenarios focusing on the exploration of the temples, the book also contains new treasures, spells, soldiers, and creatures that can be found amongst the ruins.

Barbarian raiding parties have been spotted in the northern parts of Frostgrave, in the ruins of the ancient temple district. More worryingly, many of these barbarians display demonic markings, mystic brands, and strange, otherworldly scarring. None of the tribes profess to be connected to the ancient city in any way. They have no stories of the cataclysm, and appear to have been completely unaware of the ruined city’s existence until others rediscovered it. Some people believe that the barbarians who live in the mountains north of Frostgrave are the descendants of people who survived the ancient cataclysm that destroyed Felstad. It is very common for any barbarians encountered in Frostgrave to bear Mystic Brands. Barbarian Apothecary Barbarian Marksman Barbarians produce all of the same soldier types found in the armies of other nations. They have few knights, templars, marksmen and other specialists,. When Frostgrave was first discovered, the barbarians showed little interest, and perhaps even a degree of fear in regards to the ruins. A few loners and adventurers drifted down to join the wizards in their explorations. Barbarian Knight Barbarians produce all of the same soldier types found in the armies of other nations. They have few knights, templars, marksmen and other specialists, but they make up for this shortage with a greater number of berserkers .

A thrown javelin is treated as a standard shooting attack and follows all of the rules for bows and crossbows. To hire a crow master, a wizard must have an established base inside of Frostgrave. He must then have spent 100gc to acquire a Crow Roost upgrade for his base. Each Crow Roost so purchased allows the wizard to hire one crow master. Welcome to the Nickstarter page for Forgotten Pacts. The heads of werewolves are highly prized trophies – any figure that kills a werewolf may spend an extra turn cutting off its head, which may be sold for 20gc after the game.

FGVP04 Frostgrave Barbarians Not all of the wizards who hunt the frozen ruins are honourable. While most see the dangers and conflicts within Frostgrave as a necessary evil, there are a few who actually delight in the violence, the bloodshed, and the death. Not only are they brutally effective fighters, but also great status symbols to whatever king or potentate can command their allegiance. Usually operating as independent knights-errant (though some more mercenary than others) these tough specialists travelled the land, employing their skills wherever they were needed. Cultist Captain EEEKKKK! In lands far away, where few outsiders venture, great monasteries perch on the top of high outcrops, overlooking an endless sea of mist and fog. They are ancient, secret places, unreachable except by a select few. (Our Forgotten Packs tokens are round bases with different treasure items sculpted on.) Barbarian Apprentice Barbarian Wizard Cultist Captain To hire a crow master, a wizard must have an established base inside of Frostgrave. He must then have spent 100gc to acquire a Crow Roost upgrade for his base. Each Crow Roost so purchased allows the wizard to hire one crow master.
