Long ago, the great Colossus of Argantheon stood upon one of the outer islands, its vast, outstretched arm pointing the way to the Crystal Pool, or so the ancient texts claim. Then, during some forgotten war, the Colossus was shattered, and its parts flung across the Archipelago, to lie in forgotten ruin. In this expansion for Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago, players lead their warbands through a series of interlinked scenarios in a race to
discover the secrets of the Colossus. Along the way, they will encounter new monsters, discover new treasures, and even recruit a few new specialist warriors to their cause. Perhaps, if they are successful, the knowledge they obtain will help point them towards the ultimate treasure!

SNAKEMEN FOR GHOST ARCHIPELAGO: LOST COLOSSUS SNAKEMEN FOR GHOST ARCHIPELAGO: LOST COLOSSUS
The Snake-men Also known as serpent-men, or serpent-people, Snake-men are generally considered the most dangerous and deadly of the sentient races that inhabit the islands. Resembling a human with a snake-like, or lizard-like head, these creatures tend to inhabit great ruined cities buried deep in island jungles. It is unknown if the snake-men built these cities themselves, or if they are squatting in the ruins of some other civilization. It is also unclear if all of the snake-men in the archipelago constitute one unified empire or kingdom, or if they are unconnected tribes. In truth, most of these mysteries are irrelevant to most adventurers, who either want to find the snake-men to take their rumoured, vast quantities of enchanted gold, or to avoid their sharp, curved, envenomed weapons.
*(Five exclusively designed Ghost Archipelago treasure tokens) Tribals is a catch-all term for the many diverse tribes living amongst the islands. In outward appearance, they vary greatly, from pygmies to near-giants, from darkskinned to light. Some wear fearsome wooden masks or dress in elaborate regalia. Dricheans. As far as can be determined, the Dricheans are divided into numerous petty kingdoms that have long and twisted histories of alliances and feuds. They are a warrior people, priding military achievement above all else. Crossbow, Quiver, Hand Weapon,Heavy Armour. Although they are uncommon in the lands around the Southern Ocean, some people do use crossbows. Crossbows take one action to load and one action to fire. Hand Weapon, Dagger, Light Armour. This is a knife, or other small weapon, that is not balanced for throwing. Daggers have a -1 damage modifier. Bow, Quiver, Hand Weapon, Light Armour. The most common form of missile weapon in the Ghost Archipelago is the bow. The game makes no distinction between types of bow, and players are free to depict them as long bows, composite bows, etc. Two-Handed Weapon. This includes any kind of heavy melee weapon that requires two hands to wield, such as two-handed swords, battle-axes, polearms, and large flails. These weapons do +2 damage. Two-Handed Weapon, Heavy Armour. HAND WEAPON This includes any kind of weapon that is commonly wielded with one hand, including swords, scimitars, hand axes, maces, and even spears. These weapons have no modifiers in combat. Two-handed Weapon, Bow, Quiver, Light Armour, +2 Fight versus Animals. The hunter receives +2 Fight whenever he is attacking or is attacked by an animal. Herbalists have three item slots, but two of them can only be used to carry herbs or potions. A herbalist may spend one action to give a potion or herb to any member of his crew within 1” that is not in combat. Hand Weapon, Shield, Heavy Armour. This represents any type of heavier armour, typically made from metal. This type of armour is comparatively rare in the Ghost Archipelago because it is heavy, hot, uncomfortable. Figures that are ‘aquatic’ or ‘amphibious’ do not have to make Swimming Rolls, suffer no movement penalties in either deep or shallow water, and do not suffer a Fight penalty for being in water. Herbalists have three item slots, but two of them can only be used to carry herbs or potions. A herbalist may spend one action to give a potion or herb to any member of his crew within 1” that is not in combat. Most Heritors are nine or ten generations removed from the ancestor that drank from the Crystal Pool. While the abilities that they inherited still set them apart from the general population, those abilities have grown unreliable. Wardens, dismissed by the great wizards of the north as a bunch of hedge wizards and animists, draw upon the innate powers of Nature to cast spells and perform conjurations, because of their affinity with water, air, earth, plants, and animals. The hemata are a rarely encountered relative of the snake-men. In fact, there is some debate whether they are a species unto themselves, of if they are a common snake-man deformity. Standing about the same height as other snake-men.
Topman
Bosun
The bosun, or ‘boatswain’, is the crewman in charge of the ship’s deck. He is a master sailor who knows every rope and plank and who is tasked with keeping the rest of the sailors in line. He is also in charge of the ship’s boats. ‘Topman’ is an honorific amongst the sailors of the Lost Isles. It is given to any crewman who is especially nimble and fearless when climbing and working the high ropes at the top of the mast. Such skills are often desirable in the Heritor’s expeditions. Sometimes called ‘Wooden Men’, the Cortiki are one of the most common forms of demon seen in the archipelago. In appearance they resemble crude men carved into logs or a series of connected logs. Contiki are often found living with tribals. Large, primitive, and dangerous, the powerful trolls encountered in the Ghost Archipelago are easily the match of their northern cousins. Trolls consider anything that is living and smaller than themselves to be food, and will not hesitate to attack. The Ancient Guardian is a unique demon that guards the temple of the eye. No-one knows who bound the demon to this place, or why they decided the broken eye needed such protection. The Ancient Guardian is humanoid, stands about 8’ tall. Hideous combinations of woman and snake, gorgons haunt some of the deepest, darkest caves in the Archipelago. Gorgons are savage fighters, but are more feared for the power of their gaze which can cause paralysis and, in extreme cases, petrification. SNAKE-MEN FOR GHOST ARCHIPELAGO: LOST COLOSSUS In this new wargame, set in the world of Frostgrave, players take on the role of Heritors, mighty warriors whose ancestors drank from the Crystal Pool. These Heritors lead their small, handpicked teams of spellcasters, rogues, and treasure hunters. This book of fiction collects all-new stories set in the Ghost Archipelago. The Ghost Archipelago has returned. A vast island chain, covered in the ruins of ancient and otherworldly civilizations, the Archipelago appears every few centuries. The pack also includes an exclusive Blood Burn Die which aids in keeping track of a Heritor's blood burn level throughout the game Each plastic frame has multiple weapon choices for you to design unique crew to accompany your Heritor and Warden into the Ghost Archipelago. 28mm sized plastic figures, unpainted and require assembly using glue. The saurians are a varied group of extremely large lizard creatures that are uniquely found in the Ghost Archipelago. Some theorize that they are relics of an earlier age, though there is no strong evidence for this. Large parts of the Ghost Archipelago are covered in swamps, bogs, and marshes. Unfortunately for would-be adventurers, many of these watery traps have a habit of disgorging their dead victims in the form of a particularly loathsome undead creature.
