The North Star Halloween
Painting Competition!
The rules are as follows.
There are two categories.
Single Figure and
Regiment (5 to 20 figures)
Both win the £75 voucher.
To enter the North Star Halloween Painting
competition you need to have a 'Halloween'
related miniature that can be bought through
the North Star website (so includes Artizan
Design, Crusader Miniatures, Copplestone
castings, Bad Squiddo etc). You must send
a new photograph of the figure unpainted as
the model/ models must be painted in October
2024. You can email the picture to
CLICK HERE. By submitting the unpainted
model/ models, we will judge as to whether the
model is 'Halloween' enough.
The figure will be judged by our Kevin
Dallimore. The first and second places will
be for the best painted figures. The Special
Mention prize will be for the model that we
think has made great use of the colours, but
might not be the best technically painted figure.
To enter you must submit a photo of the
model/models.
Once your entry is finished, you must email a
photograph of the model/models to us. It must
be a high quality photo and be unfiltered. Sent
the photo landscape not portrait. You must give
the photo your name and send it to
up to 5 photos of the entry. You will receive a
confirmation, if you don't get a confirmation
with 2 days, email again as you must have the
confirmation.
The closing date is the 31st of October
2024. Any entries received after that date
won't be allowed in the competition.
The judges decision is final.
The first place prize will be a £75 voucher
code to use against any products on the North
Star website.
(There is no cash alternative)
Feel free to post on the North Star Figures
group your Work In Progress. We will be
showing off the winners on Social Media, our
Website and our Newsletter.
I think that's everything, feel free to ask any
questions if you are not sure about something.
We may amend the rules here if there's
something we've forgotten about, so keep
popping back to check!
We're really looking forward to seeing what
you come up with, Happy Painting!!
(PS Please keep all comments friendly,
encouraging and positive. I will have an itchy
trigger finger on the block button for any
digressers)
