In the magazine Wargames Illustrated, issue
341, we have contributed an article called
Young Churchill. It covers the early military
career of John Churchill, future Duke of
Marlborough. The wargaming part of the article
presents you with scenario set during the Siege
of Maastricht 1673. Here Churchill and his
English Soldiers charge a ruined fort alongside
the French Musketeers and D'Artagnan to oust
the Dutch and Spanish soldiers re-taking it.
We've chosen to
use the Osprey

Garde!, and here
we present you
with four army
lists for the
different warbands
that feature in the
scenario.
