The Stargrave Scavorc Painting Competition Entrants
Araden Kwyll Thurendyl. Really consistent team build and paint, they really look like they all belong in the
same universe. Nice use of the rat and a good two-hand hold.
Miljenko Martinic. The only mounted model, and a very good one and winner of the best build. Came close on
the painting too, really a very good model.
Albert Nguyen. Winner of the best painted. The painting stood out as top notch, really enhancing what was a
effective and very packed build.
Dave Goodwin. Deceptively simple build that works very well, good choice of the scavenger body and that
double-barrelled machine gun is ace.
David Andrews. Another excellent paint up, love
the garish yellow gun, great base build too.
Douglas Hooker. Almost made it as best build. What an unusual and effective use of the shield, good skulls
too and a nice effective paint job, I particularity liked the space camo.
Fred Schmidt. Good straightforward goblin build, nice gun positioning and extra armour, and an effective paint
job too.
Holly 'Typonese' Knight. Another very good build, nice use of weapon to make a cyborg arm and leg and a
fine paint job too.
Leo de Voogd. Lovely paint job, the roving eye on a
stork is very cool, great extras in putty.
Selrahc Magic. Another really nice build, I like the way the gobbo is sighting down the barrel of his pistol.
Mark Billen. I like the shouting and pointing, ordering his crew to perform some dastardly deed. Nice skin tone
and coloured lights on the gun.
Nik Strychnine. Another great aiming and firing
pose and nice addition of a string for the bag.
Shawn Hutson. Great use of one of the really big guns, and he’s just so ugly, good modern camo.
Marc. Solid build pulling the pin on one of his many
grenades, would paint up well.
James Lane. Awesome face, very close on the painting and a lovely build as well, I always like a two hander
and a good use of the ammo belt, very Wild West.
